Filip & Philip Digital Workspace Internal App

We designed and built our own internal business management tool from scratch. The application covers the full operating workflow of a digital studio: a client CRM with pipeline tracking, a campaign manager for outreach and lead generation, project management with status tracking and hour logging, a time tracker with CSV export for billing, a shared notes system with categorised knowledge management, a whiteboard, and a calendar. Building our own tools gives us a direct understanding of what application design and development actually requires, and what makes a product usable in daily practice.

Custom Web Application

Overview

As our workload grew, we needed a way to manage everything in one place without jumping between five different tools. So we built our own. The Filip & Philip Digital app is a fully custom internal operations platform designed around exactly how we work, nothing more, nothing less.

What it does

The app brings together every part of how we run the business. There's a task management system with clear pipeline stages, a shared whiteboard for sketching out ideas visually, and a calendar to keep track of deadlines and commitments across the team.

On the client side, we built a full CRM-style tracker where we log contact details, deal values, services needed, next steps and last contact dates, so nothing falls through the cracks. Each client connects to their projects, and each project tracks hours worked, rates and running totals, giving us a clear picture of what we're earning month to month. When it's time to bill, we can export a clean breakdown to send directly to the client.

We also built a campaign tracker for managing our own marketing efforts, covering everything from the campaign idea and target audience to volume, start date and ongoing notes.

To tie it all together, there's a notes section that links directly to clients, projects or campaigns, and a built-in time tracker where you can start a timer, select the client and project you're working on, choose the category of work, and save it afterwards with a description of what was done.

How we built it

We handled the full build ourselves, from designing the database architecture and building out the front end to testing every flow and locking down security. It's the kind of project that only works if you really understand the problem, and we did, because we live in it every day.
